Varli Building exceeded expectations for our bathroom and laundry renovation. Fantastic communication was experienced from the quotation stage to the finish. Josh provided practical ideas which considered the existing structure of our home during the quotation stage. Alyce ensured the project ran smoothly with efficient communcation. Varli Buiding have a wonderful team from administration to trades. All contact with the team was friendly, responsive and efficient. We had the best experience with Varli Building from start to finish, with the end result being a renovation that we are truly in love with! We felt extremely well supported with decision making and loved the clear and transparent processes that Varli have in place. The entire team were both professional and friendly, which was greatly appreciated at a time that we were expecting to be stressful and yet wasn’t with Varli. We were also exceptionally happy that our renovation was completed on time and that at all times we were able to trust that Varli were going to deliver exactly what they commit to delivering! Varli will be the only company we ring again in the future for renovation works!

Thank you so much to Varli Building for the great renovations of my 2 bathrooms at Carmel by the Sea. Varli were very easy to work with and completed the renovation on time. I would happily recommend them to anyone wanting a high quality renovation.

Josh, Alyce and the team at Varli have been a pleasure to work with. From our first meeting we felt comfortable with their professionalism and this has not waivered throughout our apartment renovation project at Main Beach. Their assistance throughout the planning stage made the project itself a straightforward exercise and allowed a complete 'trust' relationship to exist. The team delivered an outstanding result and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a renovation.

The team at Varli were fantastic throughout our renovation. They have the whole process down pat, from coordinating trades to sourcing suppliers. This was our first major renovation, which can be challenging to navigate, but they made everything easy and stress-free.
We did a full internal renovation of our home, and they completed it in a short timeframe, just a couple of months, which really exceeded our expectations. The finishes were of a very high standard, reflecting the quality of their trade connections. We absolutely love our renovated home; it looks stunning, all thanks to the team at Varli.

Like most people , I had visions of getting a couple of quotes to renovate my duplex as I was moving into it.. However , from the moment I met Josh when he came to look , I knew he was the one I wanted for my job. He had great ideas and suggestions , all of which I ultimately went with. I particularly liked that his very detailed quote was done in modules. This meant I could pick and choose which areas to renovate and would know the cost for that upfront. Alyce from Varli kept me updated constantly and took time out of her day to take me to showrooms and warehouses to pick out all my tiles , kitchen , flooring etc. I found this a huge help as picking the right items is a bit daunting to a first timer like me. A big thank you to all who helped on my job. I am living here now and love it.Varli Building , remember the name , because it's the only name you need for anything in building and renovation.
UPDATE. I've been living here 4 months now so I'll give you an update. In that time nothing has broken ,fallen off or stopped working. All Varli's suggestions have proven to be spot on and I wouldn't change anything. I have received many complimentary comments on the look and design , all suggested by Josh, Alyce, and Varli. So very happy with my decision to go with them. A big thank you to you all.

From start to finish the Varli team made the bathroom build easy after so many years of procrastination as to whether to do it or not. Every single tradie was professional, respectful and friendly and Alyce, Loren and Josh made sure everything went smoothly. Am absolutely thrilled with the outcome and special thanks to Alyce for all her advice and support 🤗

It's hard to review Varli without sounding like a gushing girfriend but I'll try!
They were recommended by a neighbour for our home renovation and extension, the most significant investment since buying our house.
Like any good partnership, it felt right from our first meeting, so Husband and I knew immediately we'd met the one. Thereafter, we had utmost confidence in Josh's building expertise as he took the time to explore options/considerations along the way. While Alyce completed the experience with her excellent communication, expectation management and endless great ideas.
Our dread of living AND working from home during a major project was misplaced. Not alone did Varli maintain a tidy, safe and respectful environment, they somehow created such a fun experience, we were sad when they left (it felt like a break up). Josh and Alyce have an apparent, yet uncommon knack for creating a team with the right skills and personality.
Concerns re cost blowout were also allayed throughout, as they were either within expectation or due to us adding scope. And time to deliver was extremely well managed and communicated.
Would I recommend Varli? Absolutely. Even at the risk of having to wait longer for our Phase 2 Reno. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
Alyce and Josh are a breath of fresh air in the building industry. They're a dynamic duo that produces high quality results so it's unsurprising and gratifying to see them receiving industry awards for their individual and joint expertise!

Alyce, Josh and the rest of the team at Varli were excellent to work with. We had a pretty tight and strict deadline due to an incoming baby, but they made it all happen. Being our first renovation we were a bit apprehensive about undertaking such a massive project, and there was quite alot we didn't understand about houses and construction in general, but the team at Varli made kept us at ease and in the loop throughout the whole process. We lived and worked in the house while the renovations were happening and they worked so cleanly and efficiently, we barely even noticed them coming and going most of the time. The proposed timeline was adhered to as well, even with a few major last minute changes and additions (sorry!). We are extremely happy with the outcome of the work and can't wait for the next stages. Our visitors often congratulate us for "doing a great job" but I have to remind them that Varli did it all! Looking forward to the next stages.
